This paper was topical at the time, but is just as pertinent today. The difference that the intervening time has made is that now there is an intervention that puts the theory into practice. The Independent Contractor Development Programme has been established by SABEeX in the interests of industry development, and will offer the benchmarking and skills development interventions that a contractor requires through online training courses.
